Kubota Industrial Equipment Corporation Energy/Farm
Founded in 1890 in Osaka, Japan, Kubota began its business by manufacturing and selling cast metal products. Over time they have expanded their product offering to include iron pipes for water distribution, engines for agro-industrial purposes and machine tools. In 1988, Kubota established Kubota Manufacturing of America (KMA) headquartered in Gainesville, GA to produce backhoes and front loaders. In 2005, Kubota Industrial Equipment (KIE) was formed to manufacture all tractor implements as well as reassembly of Kubota tractors built in Japan. This new facility features several assembly lines, parts storage, manual and robotic welding, overhead parts conveyor systems, bridge cranes, heat treatment, paint booths as well as finished product storage and distribution.
